Charles E. Fenstermaker, age 79, of rural Findlay, died at 5:15pm on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Fox Run Manor in Findlay. He was born in Hancock County on March 21, 1933 to the late James Paul and Agnes Marie (Lytle) Fenstermaker. On September 5, 1955 he married Jo Ann Shuck and she survives. Charlie was a retired farmer, a member of Gideons International, involved in the prison ministry at Lima and Marion, and an adjuster for the Ohio Mutual Insurance Company. He had been a member of the former Vanlue St. Paul Methodist Church and most recently attended Trinity Baptist Church and Findlay Evangelical Free Church. He is survived by a daughter: Kay (Brad) Adams of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, two grandchildren: Luke (Jen) Adams and Maggie Adams. Also surviving are two sisters: Florence Stevenson and Mary Jo (William) Schwepe both of Fostoria, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay, where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday with visitation one hour (10-11am) prior to the service. Pastor Mark Burden will officiate and interment will follow at Zion Bloom Cemetery, near Vanlue. Memorials may be made to Gideons International in his memory. Dear Jo Ann My sincere sympathy to you and Kay Uncle Charlie Fenstermaker has always been a well known person in my life going back many many years I read the obituary on the computer and called Jeanete Riegle Tom and I passed your house at the end of May while enroute from visiting in Findlay to going to my cousin's house outside Arlington At that time we saw both of you sitting on lawn chairs in the yard Again my thoughts are with you
