Marjorie J. Essinger, 83, of Findlay passed away at 6:25 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at The Heritage. She was born on March 19, 1929, to the late Russell T. and Nellie M. (Herndon) Reese in Findlay. She married Russell F. Essinger on August 3, 1951, and he preceded her in death on October 15, 2010. Also surviving is a daughter, Joanie (Robert) Horvath of Findlay; granddaughter, Crystal (Jason) Schimmoeller of Findlay; and four great-grandchildren: Irissa VanDeBogart, Zoie, Mackenzie, and Ethan Schimmoeller. She was also preceded in death by brothers: Ralph and Calvin Reese and sisters: Loretta Reese, Esther Treece, Mary Grose, Bertha Pierce, Maxine Wilson, and Virginia Beach. Marjorie worked for the Ohio Bell Company and Ohio Oil Company. She was also a member of the VFW Post #5 Auxiliary, St. Mark's United Methodist Church, and a former Girl Scout Leader. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bridge Hospice and The Heritage for their loving care. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be for two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pastor Mark Hollinger will officiate and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Bridge Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be made via www.coldrencrates.com.
