Pauline L. Bibler, 100 years old, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 14, 2013. She resided at the Hilty Memorial Home in Pandora, OH. She was born October 5, 1912 at the family's "Hickory Farm" near Bluffton, Ohio to William G. and Eva M. (Deitler) Carr. She married Theron M. Bibler on December 2, 1945 and shared 65 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2010. Pauline is survived by her children: Deborah (David) Backus of Phoenix, AZ, Colette Mata of Findlay, OH and Timothy C. (Shirley) Bibler of Springboro, OH. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her brother, David Carr; son-in-law: Paul Mata and three sisters: Mary Jane Lugibihl, Barbara Gardiner and Marjorie Zuercher. She attended grade school at the Hickory one room school, was a 1930 graduate of Pandora High School and attended Tiffin University and received a degree in business. She was a secretary at Triplett Company in Bluffton, OH and later worked in the laboratory at Great Northern Sugar Company in Findlay, OH. She also was Theron's secretary for his painting service for over 35 years. During World War II, she worked at the Red Cross in Dayton, OH. She served as Secretary/Treasurer of Avion Travelcade Camping Club. She did volunteer work at Campus Crusade for Christ, Arrowhead Springs, CA. She was a charter member of Findlay Grace Brethren Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, deaconess and opened their home to many who came to serve the church. Pauline loved to travel with Theron in their RV all over the U.S. and Mexico and took many RV trips with their grandchildren. She loved to garden in which the grandchildren called the "Garden of Eden". She loved getting together with her family. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the funeral home. Pastor Rick Hart will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
