Richard E. Wolfe, age 69, of rural Findlay passed away at 9:03 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born on May 2, 1941, to the late Howard E. and Rose C. (Wolf) Wolfe in Findlay. He married Audrey J. Walsh on June 27, 1992, and she survives.
Richard is also survived by two sons: John E. (Martha) Wolfe of rural Findlay and Richard "Butch" H. (Kelly) Wolfe of Fostoria, OH; daughter, Marne(Matt) Keeler of Houston, TX; stepson, Jeff Bunn of rural Findlay; stepdaughter Kristina K. (Brad) Green of rural Findlay; three grandchildren: Haley A. Wolfe, Ashton L. Wolfe, Evan H. Wolfe; five step grandchildren: Audrey J. Bunn, Whitney C. Bunn, Corey J. Green, Jordan B. Green, and Amanda K. Green.
Richard was a farmer and was the owner of Wolfe's Produce. He retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company in 2003. Richard was a member of the National Rifle Association, Northwest Antique Machinery Guild, and the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation Guild.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will take place from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Pastor Lowell Reeder will officiate and burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, Marion Twp., Hancock County. Memorials can be made in Richard's memory to the N.W.
