Shawn E. Harris, age 34, of Findlay went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2010. He was born on July 19, 1975 in Findlay. He married Lana L. Wright on July 20, 2002, and she survives.
Also surviving are his grandparents: Eileen Harris of rural Arlington and Rose and Kermit Crosser of Findlay; mother: Karyn (Ted) Stahl of rural Arlington; father: Chuck (Holly) Harris of Findlay; brother: Chad A. (Kristina) Harris of rural McComb; sister: Lindsay M. (Aaron) Hackworth of Findlay; four children: Caleb, Kadin, Braylee, and Koen Harris; step-sister: Ashley Stahl of Arizona; step-brothers: Tom (Tina) Woods and Dave Woods, Jr.; and eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather: Wilbur Harris.
Shawn was a 2005 graduate of Owens Community College, where he received an Associates of Science degree in Engineering. He worked for P&A Industries, since 1994, as a Tooling Engineer Manager. Shawn enjoyed spending time working out at the YMCA, traveling with his family, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and was a member of High Street Methodist Church in Fostoria, OH. He was also an avid OSU fan. He was loved and respected by 11 nieces and nephews, and by many friends. Shawn was also willing to help anyone, at any time, with anything they needed. Shawn always had a smile on his face and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2010. Pastor Becky Gray will officiate and burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Memorials can be made in his memory to the Educational Fund for his children.
