Ronald D. Cole, 56, of Alvada, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on August 3, 1953, to the late David W. and Esther L. (Schubert) Cole. He married Kristina Moyer and they were divorced. He later married Tina Leightey on April 24, 1981, and they later divorced.
Ron is survived by his companion, Tina Peters of Findlay; sons: Derek, David and Darin Cole, all of Alvada; a daughter, Stephane (Robbie) Brooks of Vanlue; grandchildren: Ryan Sweat, Matthew Cole, Alexa Brooks, Alison Brooks and Madison Brooks; brothers: William (Brenda) of Olathe, KS, Gerald "Jerry" (Jan) Cole of Alvada and Carl "Dick" of Alvada; a sister, Janet (Brian) Welly of Jenera.
Also preceding him in death were his brothers: David W. and Dennis S. Cole.
Ron was a Truck Driver for Fleet Master and an avid Ohio State University fan.
Visitation will be held from 1-4:00 and 6-8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2010, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2010, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with David Clark officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Biglick Township.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County 4-H Endowment Fund, in his memory.
